Meyer Link & Charlotte

Meyer Link and Charlotte, from Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.

I rewatched the movie recently and was once again struck by the gothic beauty of it, and the romance between this loving couple.

After a month of painting daily dragons, I wanted to put some time into a proper character portrait, and the love story between these two characters was all the inspiration I needed.
